I took some time away from my @paulinaspassport page this past week and stepping away from it gave me some time to think. I look at all of the wonderful people I’ve met through travel and I see all of the different travel Instagrams and I wonder, “What can I do to contribute to this community?”
Yes, I want to inspire others to travel, but what can be my unique contribution?
I’ve been a teacher of different subjects since I was 16 and the thing that I enjoy most about teaching is the privilege of helping others and making an impact in someone’s life. With all of this in mind I would like to redirect this page, which I’ve had for years and neglected for much of that time, and make it about something a bit more meaningful.
What can make this page unique is the same things that make my life unique. I’ve lived in 5 different countries, but the first time I moved it wasn’t my choice. You see, I am an immigrant.
Through this blog and the images I share on @paulinaspassport, I will explore the varied facets of my identity. My hope is that in doing so, I will help others along their own journeys and in the process, share my own love of adventure.
